In Sarthe, nature is everywhere and the activities are varied. Also, to define an identity for each of the rooms in the lodge, we have found inspiration in what surrounds us and that we love.
The "Waterfront" not only refers to the Huisne which borders the Abbey of Epau, 5 minutes from here, but also to the Sarthe river, which has its source in the Perche, crosses the department in passing through Le Mans and flows, with the Mayenne, into Maine. There are many fishing parties to savor!
"Near the cherry tree" evokes the pretty tree of the same name which is just on the other side of the gable of the gîte. It produces beautiful cherries in season. Because let's not forget, Le Domaine de la Cointise was a farm, which with its sandy soil, also produced beautiful asparagus!
"The soft way" is the ideal footpath to reach the village of Changé on foot, just over a kilometer away. A quiet walk through the fields, where children can go into ecstasies in front of donkeys, horses and cows.
"The echo of the circuit" is a pure dedication to the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans race, a true hallmark of our department. The racing circuit, located just 6 kilometers from the Domaine de la Cointise, is sometimes heard in the distance, during major races. This friendly room can therefore accommodate 4 team members!
The "blue case" is the exception that proves the rule! It does not take its name from a Sarthois site, but it owes its name to a real crush we fell in love with for its decoration and its cozy bed frame in deep blue velvet.
Remember, the whole cottage has been entirely decorated by an interior designer - ihstudio.fr. The rooms offer all the expected comfort: recent bedding, soft protective mattress pads washed and changed after each stay, desk and storage space for clothes (shelves and wardrobe).
